A pilot plant in Edmonton will use biological feedstock to create a high-quality solvent that can be used in applications from fuel to cosmetics. As this Edmonton Journal article explains, the plant brings to reality the research of University of Alberta professor David Bressler. The plant is expected to be operational in a few months.
