Beekeepers across western Canada are reporting lower winter losses in 2015, according to this report from The Western Producer. Alberta is reporting losses under 15%, about 18-19% in Saskatchewan, and 24% in Manitoba. Weather conditions and better management practices are being credited with the improvment.
