Project aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions on Alberta farms

Alberta's Climate Change and Emissions Management Corp (CCEMC) has announced funding for a project that aims to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases emitted by farms, particularly related to fertilizer. As this Edmonton Journal article reports, will give farmers best practices information to use regarding fertilizer selection and use. The project - called "Farming 4R Land" - is led by Canadian Fertilizer Institute and administered by Alberta Innovates Bio Solutions.
