Water restrictions imposed after treatment plant wiped out

Residents of Black Diamond will have to wait months to have their water supply secure after last month's flood when the water treatment plant and 2 of 3 wells were destroyed. As this Calgary Herald article explains, the town is currently getting water from Turner Valley via a firehose. This will be replaced by an overland pipe, projected to be in place by October. Until then, residents of both communities have been asked to restrict their water use.
