At the Food Secure Canada Assembly 2012, Anne-Marie Legault, Equiterre, Quebec, presents the results of a study for last two years in Quebec on local food systems in Quebec. Consumers who support Community Supported Agriculture eat more fruit and vegetables. Local food prices vary considerably and consumers may not know they are buying local food because of lack of labelling. Local food growers use multiple channels to sell their crop (typically at least 4 channels).
