Kristel Unterschultz and Diane Wirtz present The City of Edmonton's 30-year strategy to reduce discharges of contaminants to the North Saskatchewan River with a goal of net zero impact. Edmonton has mature neighbourhoods with combined sewers. Retrofitting the combined sewers is a major undertaking. Kristel Unterschultz outlines how the framework for the River for Life strategy was developed. Implementation plans and funding will be developed in 2013.
