At the 2012 conference for the Alberta Institute of Agrologists, Dr. William Shotyk gave the keynote presentation entitled "There must be something in the water". Dr. Shotyk, Bocock Chair in Agriculture and the Environment at the University of Alberta, discussed the state of Alberta's water, its natural variations and the challenges facing water in the province.
