On January 15, 2015 the US Environmental Protection Agency released their final report summarizing the scientific evidence about connectivity and wetlands. The report reviewed over 1200 peer-reviewed publications, and then synthesized the scientific evidence from those publications. This provides a current picture of the science related to how connectivity affects physical, chemical and biological integrity of downstream water.
