A group called the Fire Adapted Communities Coalition has released a report and companion video based on lessons learned from the Colorado Springs & Waldo Canyon Fire. Their emphasis is on ways that communities can better prevent wildfires from affecting property, for individuals, neighbourhoods, businesses and whole communities.
