The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has created a series of learning modules relating to sustainable forest management (SFM). These SFM Toolbox modules correspond to thematic areas relevant to the implementation of SFM. In each module you will find specific knowledge, tools and cases that will help you put SFM in practice. Choose from 34 technical modules on topics like: Agroforestry, Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation, Forest Genetic Resources, Watershed Management, and more as well as from 12 non-technical modules on topics like: Collaborative Conflict Management, Occupational Health and Safety in Forestry, Forest Law Enforcement, and more.
Modules can be worked on through the site or downloaded.
The SFM Toolbox collates a large number of tools, case studies and other resources, organized in modules. It has been created to provide forest owners, managers and other stakeholders with easy access to those resources for the implementation of SFM.
