The Government of Alberta's FireSmart program includes resources for industry on how they can mitigate wildfire risks on their work sites. In 2008 a Guidebook was produced for industry to use in determining appropriate actions on their sites. CAPP (the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers) contributed Best Management Practices that can assist industry with their FireSmart goals.
