Removing the wellsite footprint: Recommended practices for construction and reclamation on wellsites in upland forests in Boreal Alberta

Dr. Terry Osko and Maggie Glasgow prepared a manual, updated in 2010, for those involved in construction and reclamation of wellsites in the boreal forests of Alberta. This manual is intended to contribute to best practices, so that ultimately the wellsites are returned to functioning forested areas as quickly as possible after disturbance.

Terry Osko's research in this area has been ongoing for several years. Here is a link to a radio interview he did in 2007 with Cheryl Croucher of Innovation Anthology.
