Residual effects of topsoil replacement depths and organic amendments on soil organic carbon levels of reclaimed wellsites

Three former wellsites in southern Alberta were monitored to determine the effect of organic amendments and topsoil replacement depths for ten years after their initial reclamation in order to identify what, if any, effect there was on soil quality over the long term.  This paper was presented at the 2010 19th World Congress of Soil Science, Soil Solutions for a Changing World, 1-6 August 2010, Brisbane, Australia.
