From the Institute for Catastrohpic Loss Reduction (ICLR), this paper examines strategies used by the City of Kelowna in regards to wildfires in their area. The 2003 Okanagan Mountain Park fire was destructive, but provides examples of how a resilient community can use mitigation strategies in the future.
