The status of landbirds in Alberta's boreal plains ecozone - Preliminary assessment 2012

The health of landbirds in the boreal forests of Alberta is the focus of a new study conducted by the Alberta Biodiversity Monitoring Institute. Released in September, 2012, the study - "The Status of Landbirds in Alberta's Boreal Plains Ecozone - Preliminary Assessment 2012" - looks at 74 different bird species in Northern Alberta; on average, they were found to be 80% intact.
