At the Foothills Research Institute's Caribou Workshop in January 2012, Nick DeCesare - a PhD student from the University of Montana - presented an overview of his research related to caribou. Nick's research includes analysis of habitat-use data from radio-collared caribou, as well as from radio-collared wolves, pinpointing where wolves make their kills, and how both wolves and caribou use their habitat. The research also involves examining population dynamics of caribou.
