Dr. Anna Warwick Sears talks about the successes, challenges and things that work in a British Columbia water basin, the Okanagan where water is a major asset for recreation, agriculture (fruit and vegetables) and municipal development. Her key point, the biggest challenges are social not scientific. As the cities around Okanagan Lake consider their economic futures, a collaborative venue to discuss water management is critical. The Basin Water Board is that venue.
