Urban Agriculture, Permaculture and protecting agricultural land get connected in Anita Gregoire's presentation to the the Food Secure Canada Assembly, November 2012.
She presented the practical aspects of what a successful urban agriculture strategy would look like. "On Borrowed Ground", her unique business model is about Permaculture, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) and community gardens. Her main message is "We Have to Get Citizens Growing Their Own Food". And the objective of her CSA is to develop "local farmers". The start of that process is to get kids' hands in dirt.
