Video - Mark Anielski: On agricultural land development in Edmonton

As part of the Horse Hills Area development planning (N.E. Edmonton), a number of options to conserve unique horticultural and greenhouse agricultural lands were made. Mark Anielski describes some of his work to present options to the Edmonton's City Council, including being a member of the Legacy Lands Board.

Mark Anielski is an economist and the author of the Economics of Happiness. He is involved in the slow food movement in Edmonton and made the economic argument for the conservation of agricultural land in the N.E. of Edmonton.
