In the great white north only the most enduring creatures survive, this is the home of the northern mountain caribou in British Columbia. Herds in the north of the province are healthy, but at the southern end of the range numbers are declining. Watch how biologists study and conserve caribou in the wild. You can help caribou and raise awareness of the issues they face by sharing this video and learning more about the herd that lives closest to you.
Commissioned by the 14th North American Caribou Workshop hosted in Fort St John, British Columbia in September 2012. Funding for this project came from the generous donations to the 2012 Caribou Workshop, you can see the list of sponsors here.
