This report, produced by Jay Woosaree and Marshall McKenzie of Alberta Innovates - Technology Futures, explains in detail how the provincial government's 2010 Reclamation Criteria can be used to evaluate the success of a reclamation project. Fourteen sites were evaluated for this project, and a Record of Observation Tool was used. Results of the evaluations are presented, as well as an analysis of why the sites did not meet the criteria.
The results of this study were also recently presented at the Canadian Land Reclamation Association - Alberta Chapter conference.
