The NAIT Boreal Research Institute's Boreal Reclamation Program has released a Technical Note on the best practices for aspen seed collection and cleaning. The Technical Note begins with an overview of aspen phenology, and works through the idenficiation of catkins, seed collection tips, as well as cleaning and storing seeds.
