The NAIT Boreal Reclamation Program, part of the Boreal Research Institute, has produced a series of Technical Notes to outline some best management practices in the field of reclamation and restoration. This technical note explains how a site must be assessed prior to disturbance in order for the correct data to be collected that will allow successful reclamation post-disturbance.
