Video - Care of Creation Model. Presentation by Dr. Terry LeBlanc

Dr. Terry LeBlanc was a plenary speaker at the AIA 2016 Conference, Apr 20. His presentation contrasts the two primary and historic human paradigms of science and religion with what Dr LeBlanc calls a ”care of creation model,” a third paradigm, an Indigenous one. He offers it as a means of understanding how we might ameliorate the negative consequences of our under-examined engagement with the first two. He also discusses contemporary challenges with First Peoples’ dispositions within creation.

Dr LeBlanc, in addition to being the Executive Director of Indigenous Pathways, is also the founding Chair and current Director of NAIITS: An Indigenous Learning Community.  Terry LeBlanc serves as adjunct professor at George Fox University and Seminary in Oregon, Acadia University and Divinity College in Wolfville and Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto, where he also resources the B.Ed. program.
