Barry Adams, head of the Rangeland Resource Management Program at ESRD, discusses ecological tools and their core applications to rangeland management. He talks about Alberta’s Rangelands – these native, modified and seeded communities – and the ecological services gained from them, such as watershed protection and biodiversity maintenance. The Range Resource Management system is discussed, as well as the history of rangeland management.
