The Athabasca Landscape Team, part of the Alberta Caribou Committee, prepared this report in 2009 after analysis of caribou populations in the Athabasca Landscape area, and simulation modeling with ALCES. The report recommends immediate actions to prevent further declines in caribou population, and warns that difficult choices will need to be made between caribou conservation and industrial activity in the area.
