The NAIT Boreal Reclamation Program, part of the Boreal Research Institute, has produced a series of Technical Notes to outline some best management practices in the field of reclamation and restoration. This technical note reviews ways that planning and constructing a wellsite can aid in post-disturbance reclamation. Examples of successful techniques for controllign erosion, and for preventing compaction of soil are included.
