At the Alberta Rural Organic Waste to Resources Network (AROWRN) conference in April/May 2012, Martin Blank provided information about how to harvest willow and poplar plantations. Harvesters that can be used have specific requirements in terms of how the plantation is set up, and produce wood chips while harvesting. Bales can also be produced.
