Alberta has nine airshed zones, each managed by an independent organization that works with Alberta Environment & Sustainable Resource Development on issues of monitoring air quality in the area.
The groups are:
- Alberta Capital Airshed Alliance
- Calgary Region Airshed Zone
- Fort Air Partnership
- Lakeland Industry and Community Association
- Palliser Airshed Society
- Parkland Airshed Management Zone
- Peace Airshed Zone Association
- West Central Airshed Society
- Wood Buffalo Environmental Association
