The Alberta Land-use Knowledge Network has two design perspectives: to engage the user with interesting content, to provide information identified by experts as the most current, relevant or foundational to current land-use issues. The website will not try to provide information on all topics. Rather as issues (topics) emerge, the Alberta Land-use Knowledge Network will work the network of associations, professional institutes and societies involved in land-use management to develop information pyramids that provide knowledge summaries, good practices and detailed information on the topic.
